The welcome building is closed in winter, but the trails stay open.
The Rivière aux Saumons trail is a 6.5 km linear route (13 km return). The first 4 kilometres are easy going and suit beginners and families; the last 2 kilometres are expert level. A shelter with an outdoor toilet sits at kilometre 4. The trailhead is behind the welcome building.
A new 2.5 km snowshoe trail, easy level, crosses the forest and offers a family route with access to the welcome building's outdoor facilities.
The site gives access to the adjacent snowmobile trails, which connect to the regional network.
